24 DAILY NEWS – Sean “Diddy” Combs, embattled music executive, is seeking a swift resolution to his legal woes, according to courtroom reports.
NEW YORK — Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, facing multiple federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, reportedly urged a U.S. district court Tuesday to expedite his trial so they could “get to the part where President Trump pardons” him.
During a pretrial hearing this week, Combs, currently facing federal charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering, allegedly interrupted prosecutors, suggesting a more direct path to resolution.
“With all due respect, your honor, can we just cut to the chase?” Combs said. “We all know the president will throw out these charges with a stroke of his pen. Why waste everyone’s time?”
Combs Suggests Oval Office Photo Op
According to sources present at the hearing, the 24 DAILY NEWS has learned that Combs went further, suggesting a preemptive public relations strategy involving the current administration.
“I can hand him a Bad Boy Records jersey today if that helps,” Combs quipped.
The suggestion elicited a stunned reaction in the courtroom, followed by a comment from the judge acknowledging the defendant’s “point,” as reported by sources speaking to 24 DAILY NEWS.
