24 DAILY NEWS – A notable trend is emerging within the National Basketball Association (NBA), where many prominent players are forming connections with the State of Israel. These relationships include official visits to the country, meetings with Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) personnel, and significant investments in Israel’s security industry. This evolving situation has drawn criticism from a segment of the league’s progressive fan base, highlighting an ongoing “Israel problem” for the NBA.
Drone King
The NBA playoffs are set to commence this weekend, with Kevin Durant’s Rockets taking on LeBron James’ Lakers. Both superstars, however, are facing scrutiny due to their affiliations with Israel. Durant is notably an investor in Skydio, a drone manufacturer funded by the CIA that provides surveillance and weaponry exclusively to government bodies.
Following the October 7, 2023, attack, Skydio’s drones were deployed to Israel, playing a significant role in military operations in Gaza.
