24 DAILY NEWS – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is preparing to acquire a substantial array of chemical grenades, sprays, projectiles, and other munitions, as detailed in procurement documents reviewed by The Intercept. CBP is set to spend up to $50 million on what it designates as “Less Lethal Specialty Munitions,” a term that refers to weapons intended to incapacitate or injure rather than kill.
