In the recent book, “How to Sell a Genocide: The Media’s Complicity in the Destruction of Gaza,” the author provides evidence that U.S. media coverage during the Gaza conflict has been marked by one-sided narratives that dehumanize Palestinians. An analysis was conducted of over 12,000 articles from major outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN, as well as 5,000 TV segments aired on CNN and MSNBC. This review primarily focused on center-left media as they influenced narratives during the early months of the conflict.
